The Man, The Music, The Journey:

Carl Trowers, known professionally as CarlTeh, is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, and musical powerhouse whose roots trace directly back to the golden eras of reggae and pop. His lifelong artistic journey was sparked by two legendary, personal encounters hanging out with Bob Marley—first as a youngster in a Kingston cafe, watching Marley erupt with excitement over his new single spinning on a jukebox, and later, crossing paths again in the 1970s while Marley toured through Berlin. In the vibrant 1970s music scene, CarlTeh was at the center of the action with his band, Spice of Life. Driving the rhythm right beside him was his brother, Alfi Trowers, on percussion—who would also go on to become the celebrated percussionist for the iconic German band Seeed. Together, they shared massive stages, including performing as the live backup band for ABBA in the 70s. Over his expansive career, CarlTeh also provided live backup for Henning Wehland with the CarlTeh Band (in fact, CarlTeh’s keyboard player was actually Wehland’s personal music teacher). His deep industry footprint has also brought him face-to-face with global icons, including a special meet-and-greet radio show appearance with Lionel Richie at Antenne Münster. Today, writing, producing, and filming his own music and videos, CarlTeh is building his next grand chapter. His highly anticipated title single „Baby You“ drops at the end of November 2026, paving the way for the full studio album release in 2027.
